CAN is one of the world’s leading 3D production companies. We’ve produced inspiring content across almost every genre, from live broadcast, wildlife, arts and science documentaries to commercials and brand films.
We are pioneers in quality 3D content having delivered the first live 3D satellite transmission (in 2008, for Six Nations Rugby), and the first live 3D broadcasts on the BBC (2011 Wimbledon Tennis Championships). Other 3D firsts include ballet, opera and football, including the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the first scripted TV documentary and a 10 part observational doc TV series. We now work across a wide range of genres.
We work closely with the major 3D manufacturers and our experienced 3D team are constantly testing new equipment.
We develop our own projects but we also work in partnership with other companies to help them deliver their project in 3D. Why go through the learning curve yourself when we have already done it? This can start at the development stage where we can help you develop your project to ensure it will work in 3D. We can help with budgeting, planning and 3D compliance if it is for broadcast.
We have our own 3D filming equipment, technicians and comprehensive 3D offline and online post facilities. We are probably the most cost effective 3D solution there is and some projects have been made financially viable because we can handle almost every 3D element in house.
With the arrival of glassless 3D screens early in 2013, 3D will be a very effective tool for brands to deliver their message to customers. It promises to be a game-changer with many opportunities for brands wishing to generate significant cut through.
