Client: adidas
Brief: adidas briefed CAN to film their top football players during their recent football print shoot campaigns for the new Predator, adiPure and F50 product ranges 30 players were filmed in 11 days in 8 European cities.
Execution: CAN covered all activities with an HD camera and sound crew and a supporting behind the scenes cameraman. Each player was filmed doing tricks, demonstrating skills and giving insights and advice along with more in-depth PR interviews and statements to camera shot against green screen. This footage was ingested into CAN’s edit suites and all interviews translated in readiness to produce a variety of different content.
Results: CAN produced broadcast toolkits for adidas that were distributed to global broadcasters, adidas local offices worldwide and their advertising agency 180. Material was provided to adidas global to form part of their official press kits and event videos for each product launch. Specific global players and tricks demos were included in the product launch. VNRs which are distributed globally and adidas local offices and broadcasters are advised what is available and can request bespoke edits. Bespoke content is delivered for on line. One PR IV with a player can be used for a number of different products and market releases, thus maximising its value.
