3D: Will it go beyond Football, Films & F***ing?
With 3D making its way into all genres of TV, CAN’s Duncan Humphreys was recently invited to be part of a panel discussion on 3D at the prestigious Edinburgh International Television Festival. Titled ‘3D: Will it go beyond Football, Films & F***ing?’, the session was one of the highlights of the festival.
As one of the UK’s most experienced 3D film makers, Duncan was asked to give his views on the role it will play in the future of TV including how 3D will change television, the budget implications of 3D filming and editorial and technical considerations.
The Edinburgh International Television Festival is a unique event created and planned by senior industry figures, for the international television and media industry. Founded in 1976, the Festival is a charitable organisation which aims to provide an environment where the industry can come together and share ideas, debate, get inspiration and knowledge, and build relationships.
