February: A busy 28 days
February was another globe spanning month for CAN with our crews shooting in six different countries.
We started the month at the FIS Alpine Junior Ski Championships in Crans Montana, Switzerland filming future stars of the sport.
We were once again in action in Germany, working with Topvision who utilised our expertise in filming two Bundesliga football matches.
In preparation for the new F1 season we were commissioned by a team sponsor to produce a 3D film of the launch and first test of the team’s new car. The launch took place at BBC Television Centre and was closely followed two days later by testing at the Jerez Circuit in Spain. We also filmed the team preparing their cars for the first Grand Prix at the their factory.
Following shoots in the Czech Republic and New York covering youth and athlete career programmes we were back in London shooting Tower Bridge in 3D for a series of 3D interstitial tests.
We rounded off February filming behind the scenes footage at an adidas shoot for an upcoming Predator campaign.
This was closely followed by a pilot for a 3D documentary titled ‘Monster Truck Mayhem – The Brits are Coming’, featuring monster truck legend Nigel Morris taking on the Americans at there own game.
So yet another busy month for CAN, keep them coming!
