Quantel to give CAN a Wimbledon advantage

CAN Quantel Stereo3D System
CAN are pleased to announce the signing of a three year deal with Quantel for a Wimbledon dedicated Pablo/Max/Genetic Engineering Stereo3D system.

The Quantel system will be used on site during the Wimbledon Championships and will allow us to produce highlights packages of the semi-finals and finals for Sony with an exceptionally fast turnaround.

Having an on site solution not only allows gives us great flexibility but means that our primary Stereo3D system based at our Richmond office can continue to service our other productions. The Wimbledon system will replicate our Richmond installation meaning our editors will be immediately familiar with it.

CAN Partner Phil Brown remarked, “Our Quantel S3D system is too busy to take out of production during Wimbledon fortnight. This way, we still get to use the world’s fastest, highest quality S3D system at this flagship event while high profile work for our other customers continues uninterrupted back at base.”
