The brief: Produce more than seven hours of original programming for Channel 4’s ground-breaking 3D Season.
Solution: CAN Co-Produced the 3D programmes that included documentaries, light entertainment, studio and live productions, with post production in its high end, Quantel edit suite. CAN suggested using the ColorCode3D viewing experience for existing TV’s and digital displays.
Result: The project represented another global first for CAN in the world of 3D film. Our work included:
The Queen in 3D
Two 60-minute documentaries about the Queen.
The Derren Brown 3D Magic Show
Performance filmed as live using a three-camera 3D set-up. Filming took place over two days, and included links to camera. CAN also handled all 3D post production.
T4 Live
Studio-based presenter links and interviews shot live as part of this three-hour youth show, which aired on Saturday and Sunday morning during 3D week.
Flesh for Frankenstein and Friday the 13th Part III
Correction and grading to prepare both films for broadcast in stereoscopic 3D.
Please note that we are currently unable to give you the full 3D experience at its highest quality over the internet. If you would like to see this work and more, contact us using the button below to organize a 3D screening in our Richmond or Soho office.
