Brief: To encourage adults to enrol on the FA Youth Award and become youth football coaches
Solution: CAN produced 6 x short films about different aspects of coaching, the qualities needed and the importance of youth coaches. We interviewed several England players about their first coaches and how crucial coaching was to their development as a player. Current coaches and children were also interviewed to give their perspective. These interviews were pieced together to form six narratives about the role and importance of the specialised youth coach. Footage was shot of kids training, best case coaching practice, as well as the players getting involved to complete the final picture.
