La Nuit Electro

Brief: Film La Nuit Electro, a six hour live concert dedicated to electro music at the Grand Palais and France’s first ever concert to be broadcast live in 3D.
Solution: To fully capture the event we used four 3D camera rigs, one placed on stage, another on a Technocrane, an Element Technica Neutron mini-rig for tracking and one at the rear of the crowd for wide shots. Provided with priority access to the venue, we were able to place the cameras in the best locations, including on the main stage.This allowed us to capture fantastic close up action of the artists during their performances and crowd shots that made viewers feel part of the audience.
Result: Broadcast live by SFR to showcase their new 3D channel SFRMusic channel. It was also broadcast online and made available on demand via SFR’s ‘Neufbox’.
