Wimbledon Behind the Scenes

Brief: To produce a ‘behind the scenes’ documentary on the test day for the first ever Wimbledon in 3D experience for Sony Professional
Solution: Using two crews, with XDCAM as the main camera and two 5D cameras for detailed shots, we followed the key activities for this one-off test day which acted as a rehearsal prior to the filming of Wimbledon in 3D. Being a crucial day in the planning of Wimbledon in 3D, our aim was to capture that urgency and excitement and showcase Sony’s involvement in bringing Wimbledon in 3D to the public. We interviewed the key people who are making it happen from Sony Professional, Wimbledon and Can Communicate and were able to film in locations throughout the All England Club.
